All the tracks from Beyond you can hear here are from a wonderful album called "Episcene", which was released at the end of der 80s via Rough Trade only on vinyl.
I made it digital available for Dark Ambient Radio.
It is one of the true dark ambient masterpieces of that period.
Unfortunatley, I have not heard from THAT Beyond (there a many bands existing with the same name, so don't try to google, it is useless!) ever again after this fantastic album!
Does anyone has more details or further information?

bleibt mir nur noch der hinweis, meine copy hei?t episcence, e.stiegs posting beschreibt eine episcene .
einen gespielten track 'the illusion of maya' findet sich nicht auf meiner release (zwei versch. pressungen?). |

I'm about to release several new beyond Cd's including a live mini cd
from 1987, a brand new dark ambient 2 cd set with the 70 minute dark orchestral track and a new meditational CD with Guitarist Uwe D'rose....
I've put some rough mixes up on the beyond

The Beyond have released a new album,
'exploring imagined spaces'.
it's out now on itunes or from the new Beyond Website

as a special edition with extra tracks.
also coming soon is a live beyond album
that has 'live' perfomances from 1986-2011
and includes the early demos from our 1st album in 1987.
this is followed by another new beyond album as yet unamed in august 2011.
The darkside of the Beyond:
We produced some very dark and industrial/ambient music
while recording the last Beyond album and have started a new Negetive project named
HARKONNEN
it's at the mastering stage and not out yet
but you can here the final mixes at the website.

the music is melodic but dark.
