Just to announce the "Never Heared Before" (at least on this stream) Special soon today 20:00 GMT+1, where new tunes are played, you never... well, you get the idea...
So feel invited to participate and tell your opinion about the new stuff. If you haven't got an user account, just click 'registrieren' in the box on the top-right corner.
For me, it's an experiment to give listeners more influence on what music is being introduced in the stream. The forum is bi-lingual English/German, just use the language you fell most comfortable with. (I know it should rather be Russian/German when I have a look on the IPs, but I'm obliged to check and possibly remove postings that contains text violating German law.)
I will just try to give some basic info on the tracks played during the following 3 hours or so and see what happens...  |

Starting with two tracks from the Gridlock album 'Trace': Chrometaphor & Done Processing.
Gridlock could be mostly conceived as a noisy but dream-like DnB band.
As I already have tortured you with squaremeter, I don't hesitate to let this to your ears. 
To cite wikipedia:
"Their style was originally akin to the sound of Skinny Puppy with less vocals and an ambient aspect not normally found in industrial. Eventually, they took on more and more ambient and electronic sounds and slowly removed their industrial edge and any trace of vocals. Today, they could better be compared to Autechre due to their newer IDM sound and to Panacea for their Drum & Bass experimentation." |

gut...eingeh?rt ! Der Anfang mit GRIDLOCK war schon richtig gut ! Vor allem des Erste "Chrometaphor". Mit DnB konnte ich das nun nicht so verbinden, h?tte eher vermutet das die aus der Industrial- electro - Richtung kommen ??!
Aber zumindest die beiden vorgestellten St?cke halte ich f?r unbedingt passend ! (Vielleicht kannst Du Da sp?ter nochmal drauf zur?ck kommen, dazu haben bestimmt noch einige was zu sagen...
Call, da kam ich nie so rann. Das St?ck klingt zwar ganz gut, man h?rt aber, da? die Herren woanders beheimatet sind - die fantasie fehlt (aber vielleicht auch diesbez?glich bei mir). |

If there would be a category needed for the track Vela from the Troum/All Sides split album 'Shut?n', maybe I'd call it 'hypnorock'. Perhaps even a bit more hypnotic than Vela is the 15-minutes track Sink In Sideways by Allseits, a project that is personally identical to All Sides and consists of Nina Kernicke. Now lean back and dive!

Ich hab schon die beiden passendsten St?cke ausgew?hlt, ja. Die ?lteren Sachen sollen auch EBMiger sein. Kenne ich aber nicht.

Muss man vielleicht erst ein paar mal h?ren. Ist mir auch erst beim xten mal ?berhaupt aufgefallen. Ich habs auch deshalb gespielt, weil ich mir nicht ganz sicher war, was es ist, was sich gegen die Einordnung in Dark Ambient sperrt. Fantasie sagst Du... kann sein. |
