We know music from game Silent Hill... (OST)
i think this is very intresting compositions and for D.A.R.
that you think about? ))
Maybe should include it in radio?

Die Musik von Silent Hill kenne ich selbst noch nicht, aber sollte hier auch Game-Music gespielt werden, w?r der Schritt zum Film-Soundtrack nicht weit...
Das ist sicherlich ein sehr gro?es Feld, wo auch Haslinger und Lustmord wieder ihre schwarzen Finger im Spiel h?tten. Aber irgendwie gef?llt mir dieser Gedanke nicht - Vielleicht w?rde es mir dadurch zu popol?r werden?!
Lustmord "Zoetrope" oder Band of Pain "Sacred Flesh" sind widerum sch?ne Gegenbeispiele. Und bei Game-Music bin ich `97 vom Quake 1 Soundtrack nicht wenig begeistert gewesen!

A great number of movies and computer games contain dark atmospheric soundtracks. Sometimes dark soundtracks and dark ambient albums sound quite similar, but, as I think, soundtracks have few common features with releases of dark ambient artists. Because a musical release is a finished, self-dependent and conceptual piece of work. While soundtracks mostly depend on the original movie or game and rarely exist for a long time without it. That's why I think soundtracks may not be included in radio. |

I rather dont think so. That the OST of Silent Hill wouldnt fit this convenient. The music s already popular. Made by the film. The first game was an honor to play with. This very dark. Dark Ambient. Matches so good to the game. Was the first really psychologic horror game. Frightened me more than any other media. Even movies doesnt it like the game.
I think it have to be in the list of DAR. Admins should listen to it. OSTs on www.hometown.ru . Give it a try. |
