Mytrip - Low (2011)

Finally a full-length release from Mytrip is available. After all those years I am finally able to present a more detailed and immense piece of work. "Low" consists of two tracks dark ambient / drone pieces which are enhanced recordings and reconstructions of Mytrip live sets performed in September and November 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria and Thessaloniki, Greece. You can order your copy from the Russian tape label Depressive Illusions Records. I will post excerpts in Soundcloud later this week.

As the tapes I had are sold out, and the copies in stock at Depressive Illusions Records are also heading towards their end I uploaded a digital version of the album which you can buy from bandcamp. You can listen to the whole tracks as well.

I gladly purchased the music download already - I think with 2?, you can't do anything better in the whole world than buying this
By the way, you are my favorite Dark Ambient artist since I first heard "Anthropophagus" on the DAR Compilation Vol.1. That Track was instantly burnt into my mind. I'm really looking forward to your future work.

Thanks a lot for the kind words and of course for purchasing the album. I really hope you liked it at least as much as the song that got you into my music. The good news is that a lot of new Mytrip music is coming really soon. In compilations, collaborations with other artists and of course as solo releases all of this in various digital/physical formats. So keep an eye on the project. I guess I still have a lot of music to create and share.
Thanks once again, you don't see such support everyday (and maybe is better that way). |

Just a little update where you can get the last copies of the tape from.
Depressive Illusions finally have an official web page so one of the options directly from them. I think there are not more than 5 or 6 tapes left there. So if you feel like it the link is HERE.
The others are in Bulgaria, one option is to drop me a line, the other is through the Bulgarian label and mailorder Abandonment, just follow THIS link.
You can of course always get the super cheap digital version from bandcamp.
Wounds of The Earth posted a short review on their page which you can also check. It's honest and direct, this is why I am sharing it, I think no one else has written anything, at least I am not aware hah. HERE it is.
