As you know, DAR abstains from any audible filling material like jingles or blah blah blah... It will stay like this as long as I run the radio. But there is one exception:
I always thought about a jingle to announce a server shutdown for DSL line reset (back online in 1-2 minutes), for maintenance (try again in a few minutes), for backup (try again in half an hour), for act of god (indefinitely, better switch to another radio). Something fitting and dramatic, to prepare the listener carefully for some time of silence. I'm wondering: Anyone here with something fitting and some nice vocoder effects for the message?
For anyone who likes to make a submission: Your project name will be mentioned in the metadata (ID3 tag) like this "Shutdown because of reason X - Jingle by Y". If any fun reason comes to your mind, why a streaming server could shut down, go ahead! What is important is the information if or when the stream is expected to be online again.
This way it may hurt me less to make a shutdown while many listeners are still receiving the stream, i.e. if Microsoft thinks a reboot is necessary because of important OS updates.

@Goten Fixed this side effect of the new php version. Note: In Firefox (or IceCat) any stream link with a semicolon at the end will play directly in the browser, here http://s3.viastrea ming.net:8835/;
