Seven Sins- Seven Compilations
In 2010, Schattenspiel and Neofolk And Martial Forum Franken decided to release a compilation in seven parts about the seven deadly sins. The seven deadly sins are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.
Every sin will be given a separate part of the compilation, and every compilation will be containing 30 tracks of 30 artists and bands.
These artists and bands are coming from all over the world and from the broad fields of neofolk, dark ambient, and experimental music to take part of this project.
The artists and bands interpret their desired sin in a religious or philosophically meaning by using their own musical meaning of expression.
The first compilation - "Ira" (Wrath) - will be released in 10/2010
Cover art in ID3 tags seemed to interfere with ezstream, leading to invalid frames sent to the Shoutcast server. We will see how long Shoutcast will make it this time...
