Windharfe (Aeolian Harp) Livestream

Hi all.
This evening I finally put a livestream of our Windharfe (Germ.: "wind harp") online. Windharfe is a custom-built drone instrument, an electric harp that is mounted on a huge mast outside the Musisches Zentrum. Unfortunately the levels aren't optimized yet, the sound is clipping from time to time...
Please notice that the Windharfe will only work when there's some wind outside (like right now).

PS: The stream is only mono right now, but we will set up a stereo stream soon. The problem is that we had to use a wireless transmitter from the harp to the icecast server and the transmitter we have right now only transmits one channel and I'm not very happy with it anyway. But probably we'll be able to improve the sound quality by next Friday.. Perhaps the harp pickups also need a replacement.

Definately interesting....but at some moments sound gets too loud, I need to lower down volume....maybe some limiter, compressor....if it's possible, to make it sound more better and glued together between volume differences? |

Yeah as I mentioned the sound quality is still up to some improvements! There already is a compressor on the input, but it isn't really effective. Those strings simply have a huge dynamic range. I hope I'll be able to fix it next Friday...

Thx. I'm afraid I cannot say anything about licensing of the sounds at this moment, but I can clarify that next Friday (when our group usually meets).

The first two samples are excerpts from the Windharfe CD by D. Tr?stedt.
The 3rd sample is an excerpt from the track Erde (194,71 Hz = Ca. G) on the Compilation "Planetent?ne", a quite interesting release, also featuring Klaus Wiese (RIP).

Btw: There's currently some rain outside which can clearly be heard in the different sound of the harp.
Unfortunately it's still clipping from time to time...
