Kurz bevor der kalendarische Fr?hling in Deutschland Einzug h?lt, wird es noch einmal richtig dunkel und kalt. Drei Dark Ambient-Projekte aus Norwegen sind am 18. M?rz zu Gast beim club|debil in der Alten Feuerwache Loschwitz.
Da ist zum einen Svartsinn, das musikalische Vehikel von Jan Roger Pettersen, mit dem er die dunkle Seite seines Selbsts erforscht. Seit 1999 begibt er sich mit seinen atmosph?rischen soundscapes auf einen Trip in eine Welt, in der Finsternis Alles oder Nichts sein kann: Emotionen, ein intellektueller Kampf im Geiste oder eine imagin?re Reise durch zerkl?ftete Felsen und abgestorbene W?lder.
Svartsinn hat bisher drei Alben auf dem kanadischen Label Cyclic Law ver?ffentlicht, Beitr?ge f?r verschiedene Compilation geliefert und die Musik f?r zwei Filme und zwei Theaterst?cke beigesteuert.

H?rleif Lang?s begann 1996 als Northaunt Musik zu machen. Basis sind meist atmosph?rische Drones, Field Recordings aus der norwegischen Natur und manchmal einfache Melodien, gespielt mit Gitarre oder Piano. Thematisch ist Northaunt fokussiert auf Abgeschiedenheit, Melancholie und die Beziehung von Mensch und Natur.
Lang?s hat drei Alben ver?ffentlich, ebenfalls bei Cyclic Law, deren Wahlspruch ?obscure ambient and industrial soundscapes? auch f?r den Northaunt-Sound zutreffend ist.

Dritter im norwegischen Bunde ist Ketil S?raker alias Taphephobia, ehemals Mitstreiter von Lang?s bei Northaunt. Taphephobia, das ist die Angst davor, lebendig begraben zu werden. Passend dazu ist der Sound S?rakers dunkel, gespenstisch, Furcht einfl?ssend. Basis des Dark Ambient ? la Taphephobia sind haupts?chlich verfremdete und geloopte Gitarrenkl?nge.
Bisher ver?ffentlichte das Projekt zwei Alben, eins beim belgischen Label NOTHingness, das andere bei Reverse Alignment. Bei den Schweden soll Anfang des Jahres auch das neueste Album von Taphephobia erscheinen.

Sch?ne Zusammenstellung. ?berlegenswert. Leider gibt es nach 20h keine DB-R?ckfahrt unter 10 Stunden. Kennt jemand irgendwelche akzeptablen Parties trotz des Mittwochs? Dann w?rde ich den 5h-Zug zur?ck nehmen... |

I will be there but I don't know if there are still tickets available? I heared that only around 40 people can be seated there... not much!
No idea of any partys... Must go to work next day so I will leave with the last sound I think  |

Well, Taphephobia's video was minimalistic and good for the music.
Northaunt's Video was with a lot of landscapes, very nice!
Svartsinn's one was an old(?) shocking video where people slaughtered themselves. I couldn't eat my gummi bears But it was very nice anyway!!
I think Svartsinn's and Northaunt's gigs were the best! A little short but very good! Only the PA was sh.... Very loud background noise (hissing) and a few people were talking a lot (why do they go to concerts???). All in all a very good evening to remeber  |

eheh i know what means people that talking during a gig...it happens also in Milan where people come to the concert to wait the party after the gig...and to dance this strange music they call EBM... |

Sorry, it's the only club we have. Normally only up to 15 people show up. And renting another club is impossible. We never could afford enoug money to pay all the pills or we have to sell the tickets for moon prices...
I know it's not optimal but it's OK, I think...

Yes, of course! It was a very nice evening. Don't understand me wrong! Your club is nice, a "true" club  But honestly, I was hoping for a bigger one for the Dark Ambient Alliance Tour. It is something special that demands attention. But hey, I will come back to see other bands anytime |
