Irezumi pr?sentiert mit "Endurance" (Durchhalteverm?gen) ein erstaunlich reifes Deb?t Album das gemessen am Alter des K?nstlers (21 Jahre) um so mehr ?berrascht. Bei "Endurance" handelt es sich um ein Konzeptalbum welches sich mit der Ernest Shackleton's Antartic Expedition befasst, welche tragisch endete. Die Emotionen werden dabei wunderbar eingefangen. Zeitlos sch?ne tiefe Soundscapes, warme Kl?ngen, traumhafte Melodien, Ger?usche die im Zusammenspiel eine Geschichte erz?hlen der mann sich nur schwer entziehen kann. Ich bin echt beeindruckt von der emotionalen Bindung die dieses Album beim H?ren schafft. Pures Kopfkino!!!
I absolutely adore his sound and music. I think he describes his work as cold ambient not dark ambient. But this is actually not so important as Irezumi is very interesting project. He was originally into house or techno music I think but his ambient work is amazing. However I haven't been able to hear the whole cd, I'm talking only about the tracks I've heard in myspace but damn me, I confess I've spent plenty of time with his profile open
