ahhm...and where do we can talk about the tracks?
New Thread or just here?
I think the idea by vile is not bad... maybe we should start a new Thread with password protection where the artists can discuss about the several tracks?

hi. das ist mein erster Beitrag im DA-Forum und ich m?cht mal ein allgemeines "Hallo"in den Raum stellen.
An den Admin:
Compilation?-Klasse Idee. Du suchst noch immer Material?-Super.Wie viele Titel sollen es denn werden? Gibt es daher an die Titel etwaige Anforderung wie: Mindest -oder Maximall?ngen etc.? Hat die Compi ein spezielleres Thema? Gr?sse MilanRot |

I have a project called Sibyllin. I don't have any myspace (I don't like myspace), but I can upload some of my tracks for those who wish to hear it, on fileden (which will eventually come, I suppose).
Here's my website, anyway: Sibyllin Its content is not very interesting yet, but it will come soon enough.
I'm also glad that you guys decided to launch this interesting project. |

Vile: For now, I count 12 people who have announced themselves to participate. That would be around 6 minutes each -- a nice length for a dark ambient track. (Btw.: The average dark ambient track is 6:20 minutes long.) But maybe this shouldn't concern too much at this stage -- the worst thing that could happen is the need to have a DCD, if published as disc.
Volandor: I will create a forum where only people contributing to the compilation have access to. I always prefer transparency, but I admit there are matters to discuss that should not be public.
(Nice track Lisea, you uploaded to fileden!)
Milanrot: Don't panic! You can always edit your posts. But you can't have HTML code in a post. Just use the [url] tag if you want to include a link to the songs you made.
qh: Could you provide direct download links to your mp3s?
Doomcore: Go ahead ask Herman, if he would like to master the compilation! I think with all his releases, he must have quite much experience. Having a cama track on the disc would really be a headliner, although it would complicate things a bit as he is member of some Belgian collecting society, GESAC or SABAM, which cooperates with the German GEMA, so if the release country should be Germany (which I would of course prefer), I think a certain fee would fall due in advance to the printing (correct me if I'm wrong).
Btw.: is anyone of you member of a collecting socitety? |

Ok, the Dark Ambient Radio Compilation Forum is now visible to the ones concerned. If someone feels she/he should have access to that forum, as well, because of willingness to contribute music, please write me a mail or pn.
I already did a post concerning distribution issues.
