I hope, I can sneak in somehow on Friday.
Most of the time, I will stay at the Tacca booth in the merchants hall on the Agra site. If you are in the area, just walk by and say hello or buy a compilation. |

My brief summary of the WGT:
the best show for me was Svartsinn - perfect sound, perfect loudness. The videos were nice, nearly no bloody shock effects, but a very subtle nightmarish horror. And I agree: the Cello fitted perfectly to the music. Great show.
Ah Cama-Sotz and Land:Fire were also nice, but Desiderii Marginis was a bit too noisy, and sometimes I hat the impression, that parts of the furniture were resonating.
"Der Blaue Reiter" promised "martial ambient", but to me there were too many people on the stage beating the drums but too much music coming from the PC.
The best show outside the dark ambient program (for me) was Collection d'Arnell-Andrea, a not very popular french band. Sadly not their chamber orchestra line up (I saw that in 2008, it was fantastic), but with synths, guitars, cello and viola. CDAA was parallel with Anne Clark, so I missed her... |
