Hello everyone on Dark Ambient Radio!
This is Marcel Gherman aka Megatone from Moldova. I apologize for not writing in German, unfortunately I don't possess German. We here know too the importance of protecting our own language and culture.
I am musician, radio DJ and journalist. Between 1994-2003 I was author of programs on electronic music on the national radiostation of Moldova, including programs "Techno Mix" and "Zona De Limita". I am author of numerous articles in the local press. I studied composition. I have a particular interest for Indian spirituality, notably the Advaita Vedanta school and the works of Sri Aurobindo, and I practiced yoga since the age of 10.
As a musician I have an album called "A Journey To The Core Of Reality" released on label Tibprod in Norway, and tracks on compilations: track "Flying Dragon" - compilation "Cat-Zen Jammer" (Tibprod), track "Space Station" - compilation "Noise To Meet You Europe" (Simlog - Poland), from the series "Noise To Meet You Asia" and "...USA", track "Bindu (Lifeforce)" (breakcore/industrial/noise) - compilation "The Scariest Weapon vol. 3" - label Invasion Wreck Chords (Belarus, owned by band Ambassador21), compilation distributed thru labels Ant-Zen and Asnoiseam.
I try to create a very personal music based on spiritual concepts, I try to find suitable musical forms for my ideas. I create very diverse music, both light and dark, as an expression of the principle of simultaneous coexistence of duality as the true nature of the world, concept taken from Advaita Vedanta, an introspective music that helps explore deeper layers of reality and human spirit in order to find a solid point of support to overcome the negative opposing forces of our world.
Tracks "Mulberry Forest" and "Lost Valley" are taken from a very personal project inspired from the impressions and atmosphere of village Drutsa where I spent my childhood summers. Track "Flying Dragon" combines japanese and chinese elements. Free as a dragon in the skies.
Recently I released my album "Pure Land" in light ambient/cinematic style on the online music store Audiobubble: http://theaudiobubble.com
Enjoy, and Greetings from Moldova!
