yes, they are.
But its up to you using a sub. Someones says yes, other says there is no really need to have a sub on studio for making music.
For other kind of audio yes, , (ie foley) but for strictly muzak is not so clear.
Also, dont forget the place where you work, I mean the acoustic characteristics of the studio.
Thanks for your response. Well, I work at home. But if you could see the tiny room I am in, you would surely tear your hair, haha. Anyway, I realized it just doesn´t help to browse the internet hours and hours. I will just get into it and see what happens...
