Btw I've got a question concerning the tracks exceeding the length limitations (I mean exceeding them with oven a minute). Should they be remade so they can fit, because if 3, 4 such tracks are chosen this means one normal track will be dropped out of the comp... I guess this wasn't so hard rule to follow but still there are few tracks (plus they are actually good ones) exceeding the limitations which harms all other projects' work... Maybe after such track is chosen the author will make the necessary corrections (hopefully not only by using trim and fade out smiley ).

Agree with Vile....some tracks are way too long for 1 cd compilation. If they are chosen for compilation, than they should be rearranged to shorter lenght.

I seem to remember that seven minutes was the maximum track length quoted. If you don´t stick to that... well, if you can´t say it in that timeframe, you won´t have anything to say in any other timeframe, either.

I'm sure we will find a solution when we know which ones are the best (or most popular) ten or eleven tracks. For now, I think track length shouldn't matter too much in the voting.

But we are talking in this public forum again. Hope the audience isn't too bovvered by the details of the production process. smiley

For all who contributed a track: Check your abandoned email accounts or spam filters, if you don't get the voting mailing! Deadline for voting is 30th of September.

For the time being, I carry on with a virtualBoxed Windwos and SamBroadcaster but I wrote a note about your recommendations for the time I finally switch to GNU/Linux.

@Bebop420 Thanks! IDJC seems interesting. I hope that I have solved the problem though. The USB stick with the media files seems to have a defect. Hope, the external hd does a better job now.
