Hello everyone! I recently discovered this website and decided to promote my project Araphel to you all the listeners of Dark Ambient! My project is influenced by many Dark Ambient acts most noteworthy are Lustmord, Mortaur, Accurst and IHVHLXXII.
My style of Dark Ambient much like obscure project Mortaur is focused on the aspect of Horror so at most times my project may be questioned if it is 100% standard Dark Ambient. It is not, with my project I wanted to focus on the malevolent Darkness of Ambient. Not the safe, happy and standard concept of it. My music contains hellish ambiences, low-pitched textures, voices of tortured souls, chants and sometimes even "demonic" vocals. At times my music sounds like a soundtrack to a horror movie and incorporates dark symphonic anthems with haunting, dissonant or sudden sounds, created to frighten the audience with chanting voices.
