zev died orchestra is a weird collective formed after numerous shows. We never rehearse, we play only live, but we do that quite rarely. We like found sounds, drones, contact mics, sub basses, super high frequencies and noise. zev died is martin l. (gokkun), nikola m. (wayab) and angel s. (mytrip). Our first release has just been published on Bandcamp a limited tape (20 copies) will be soon available through Amek.

'I' is a personal recollection for times spent away from reality. It incorporates three different views, but also everything unknown occurring in between. zev died orchestra is sometimes gently drifting, but sometimes it is raw. When we reach for the familiar, it is to deconstruct it beyound recognition. However, preparing, performing and releasing those pieces serves the sole purpose of sharing the state of freedom we reach only when exploring music.

Hahaha that would be interesting to know. Will probably never have the chance to. However the name is quite of a nerd tribute to Zev Bellringer from Lexx and her death in the end of season 1. Next step in my personal degradation is watching Star Trek.

Due to certain misunderstandings with the label which was originally supposed to release the tape it is now available only through Amek. People should learn DIY is not a synonym for ugly releases. You can find the tape on Bigcartel.
